Sketch is a Norwegian ambient duo who, with only a few legendary and rare releases. The band consists of Tor Jørgensen and Kai Mikalsen from the northern parts of Norway. They made heavy dub-inflicted ambient, organic and with rich texture, inspired by Brian Eno and John Hasse and ”modern” ambient like The Orb and Biosphere. In the early 80’s, they actually introduced Geir Jenssen (Biosphere) to electronic music. Geir returned the favour when he brought the demo for their debut album Reasons To Sway to R&S, who released it in 1994 on the sub-label Apollo.

When R&S/Apollo went out of business, this classic album have a long time only been available for highest bidder at eBay. But Beatservice Records have now finally re-released it in digital form, as the kick-start for the complete the re-release of the complete Sketch catalogue in digital format, complete with new, specially designed digital booklets by Tor Jørgensen.

The tracks are now replaced with the original recordings from the original DAT's, remastered in 2022 by Kai Kobi.
